In 1985 Paula created the PIA affiliate program. Paula sits on various insurance company councils, authored insurance legislation, and has acted as a legislative analyst for the agents’ association. Paula’s expertise has been highlighted in the media on home and earthquake insurance and stricter licensing and education requirements for agents. Paula has a degree in Languages from Manchester University, England; a polyglot in 5 languages. She regularly travels having visited over 100 countries with her children and grandchildren. Paul Hammack CEO Paul is an insurance expert with over 30 years experience in the industry. He started at PIA in junior high school and, after graduating college, began working full time at the agency. In addition to managing PIA, Paul is an acknowledged industry expert in commercial insurance, particularly small business and workers compensation insurance. He is a member of numerous insurance company advisory boards and actively advocates for the industry to leverage technology to the benefit of clients. Paul is also a certified continuing education instructor; he teaches and mentors agents at PIA in insurance practices, law and policy coverage to continually increase the quality of PIA’s agents’ knowledge so they can better serve clients.
